Thank you Rosie for sharing your SOOC image with me. I feel very honored and happy to be able to use it. … by the time I woke up I found many offers in my mailbox. To be fair I have opened only the first one.
I am now quite close to finish my Secret and get to share what’s “in the box”.
I have decided though that I would not mind using another one or two sooc images by other photographers so here is a second chance for you who were one just a minute too late …
The image(s) I am looking for need to be filled with Love .. preferably not just a close up head shot …

I have always loved this image …. even as a little girl .. each time coming to my grandparents house I would beg my nanna to open the album and tell me all about it ….
The thing about photography in the past that I have realized is that most of the time they used low f-stop so people usually had to stop and just for the one moment in their being BE what they are for the one who photographed them …
These days we have cameras that freeze a moment faster than a second some cameras shoot even several frames per second .. this brings a whole new dimension to the way we capture our subjects …
anyway … here I will stop and get back to being mum for today …. waiting for your reply

Sonia, I can’t seem to be able to use the Contact page on your blog. Everytime I try to submit, it comes up with an error or Please check your verification code. I have checked and double checked that the verification code is correct but still to no avail.
Anyway, just wanted to say that I have some images that you can use but I can only send it tonight as I have no access to them from work.

What amazing photographs.. when I was a little girl I used to spend hours going through my grandmothers box of old photographs.. I used to beg to see the photos from what I apparently called “the yellow days” because when I was small I didnt comprehend that the world was in color back then as well.. I thought the world had a sepia tone and wasnt really sure when it all became color but my grandmothers photos were such a treat.. to see them the relatives some gone some not.. to hear the stories behind the photos or behind the relatives in the photos was always a treat for me.. maybe thats in part where my passion for photography came from.. My grandmother has been gone 12 years now. I miss her every day.. I would love to see those old photos again.. my aunt seems to have them and for whatever reason no matter how many times I ask to borrow the box she never gives it up.. I should ask again… anyway.. thanks for sharing your old photos they are wonderful.
