Tagged again

I have been tagged again this time by LK (make sure to visit her blog) this one is (suppose to be) easier than the 6 quirky facts!

1.     Ten Years Ago… I had no children .. I was secretly in love with my ex-boyfriend, working in a chinese teahouse in my home town Litvinov in Czech republic … and applying for a job in a refinery where I must have really charmed my  husband as he hired me as his  secretary .. yeah yeah .. another soap opera with happy end don’t ask for more LOL

2.     5 Things on my to do list ..

  • get rid of the huge pile of washing to iron
  • finish more proofing for people that I photographed in Czech republic in May so I can at least have a look at our pics from  the big holiday
  • call my nanna because it’s her birthday today
  • practice my last piece of violin book one so I can finally move on to book two
  • take time to enjoy being ;) (bit more often)

3.    Snacks I enjoy… organic apples, vita wheat with vegemite (they are really trying hard to make me aussie here very well )

4.    If I were a Millionaire .. honestly I dunno .. I guess I would just be the same .. live the same …  I am just happy the way I am ..

5.    Places I’ve lived…are Litvinov (Czech republic - my home town) Teplice (Czech Republic - my birth town and my first place to live together with my husband) Prague (Czech republic - that’s where my first son was born and where we lived till before his 1st birthday) Leighton Buzzard (UK - a small English town where I worked as an au-pair) Clarendon (Austraia, Victoria - my present home ((and the best :P)) )

So now I have to tag a few people -  and to make it a lil more interesting the new “rules” are:

  • Name one of your favorite books and tell us why
  • Tell us which  country you would like to visit to photograph there and what/who
  • Share one of your favorite quotes

to start off:

  • The little Prince by A. de Saint Exupery … because I always felt like I met him .. and it was this book that made me realize that I am not a human being experiencing soul but soul experiencing human being …
  • Oh I would love to go to Tibet and Nepal and capture all those beautiful people in the mountains
  • I actually mentioned it here above and it is: Take time to enjoy being

I now tag the following wonderful photographers:

Kris Leigh

Gemma Higgins

Clair Bremner

Fiona Carson

hey girls you are tagged :) p.s. don’t forget to link back to the person who tagged you .. (as if you would not know :P )

and it would not be a photography post without a photograph… here is a portrait of my fast growing baby boy Selwyn … he is 9months already ..

Master N (our newest family member)

Some time ago I have promised some lovely news to share.

Our life has gotten so busy I hardly spent any time online. It was only when I got sick with mastitis last week that I stopped and being “tethered” to the bed after the fever had gone I grabbed my laptop and managed to put  up with a whole lot of proofing.

one of my favorite parts were pictures of our gorgeous new family memeber .. my husband’s grandson .. Unfortunatelly our visit was too short and too busy (apart from the baby we had  4boys aged 4-10yo running around and one 2yo princess a big sister to her supercute little baby brother as well as I was going down with flue) … so I have not managed to do what  I wished to and although I have made a snuggly cocoon and knitted a wrap we did not get much chance to find the space and do some decent posing … but in the end it did not really matter … we had some lovely time  … and I managed to sneak in Master N’s hammock while he was snoozing …
